| A Letter From The Founder and President of SSABN About The Network |
|
Dear Friends,
I was pumping gas on a Friday afternoon of a big SEC baseball weekend in Baton Rouge a couple of years ago. A couple pulled up in a car and saw that I had an LSU shirt on. They were wearing Florida shirts and said they were from Gainesville. They said they were here in Baton Rouge for the first time and didn’t know what to do or where to go. Well, my friends and I took good care of them all weekend. They had a great time and we traded phone numbers and email addresses. They have already returned the favor twice in impressive fashion for us in Gainesville. This gave me an idea; an idea of an alliance of fans and businesses throughout the south. Thus, I have started the Southeastern Sports and Business Network and www.ssabn.com. Although, I have travelled to many of the campuses in the southern states over the years, my staff members and I are now personally checking out all the campus areas again, talking to locals and visiting the establishments to SELECT, INSPECT and APPROVE each and every business that will be listed. I am fortunate to have already compiled many connections over the years and I look forward to establishing many, many more. We will be communicating with and advertising on sports radio shows in the applicable cities. We will be engaging and supporting booster clubs, alumni groups and the colleges themselves. We will be informing travelling support personnel of all the sports teams to alert the athlete's parents to our network. We will be organizing and sponsoring networking efforts inside and outside of our network. My years of experience with information technology, web design, advertising, business promotion and my passion for sports will make this network a great success and your business better. For a very small investment, you can be part of this exciting new network that drives customers to your establishment, creates a powerful business alliance group and supports good causes. Thanks for your consideration. Sincerely, Terry Power |
